Secret Honey Jack Skellington Dress
Hello everyone, welcome back to another post. Today I would like to show you my Jack Skellington dress from Secret Honey. I adore this design, it’s so beautiful and elegant. The high-low hem, the embroidery and print, the bow tie… Too cute. Also Nightmare before Christmas is one of my favourite movies so naturally I adore these dresses.
I showcase one of my Disney pieces every two weeks, you can check out my other posts if you like. Last time I showed you my Secret Honey Merida Set.
If you would like to know more about the brand and about how you can get these dresses, I have got you covered in this post. I also sometimes sell dresses from my collection, check out my shop or my Instagram, I usually list them there.
The Jack Skellington Dress
First up, as always, some pictures of the dress in it’s full glory:
This dress is not very big, eventhough it is loose. If you have a larger chest, it won’t fit. It barely fits my dressform and she’s a size S. Here it is from the side:
Here you can see the high-low hem. I like this a lot. From the back:
There is a slit in the center back which reminds me a lot of Jack’s suit.
Sizing and Closure
As I already mentioned, not so roomy in the chest area. If you have a bigger bust, this is not the dress for you. There is a lace up detail in the back to cinch it in the waist:
The dress closes with a zipper in the center front and several press studs and a button at the top:
The Bow Tie
The bow tie is done in white with Jack Skellington’s bat tie on top. It is attached to a velvet ribbon that closes in the back of the neck.
The Embroidery and Print
There is a piece of embroidery with a cute print on the left side of the dress. There’s Jack’s dog, some bats, some ghosts and some gravestones, ornaments and plants embroidered.
The print shows Jack and Sally together in an embroidered spider web:
And that is already it for today’s post. I hope you enjoyed having a look at all the details of this Jack Skellington dress from Secret Honey. I thank you for reading and wish you a good one.
Love,
Ella
