Secret Honey Anna Ice Skating Dress from 2014

Hello everyone, welcome back to another post. Today I would like to show you my Anna Ice Skating dress from 2014 from Secret Honey. This is the first iteration of this dress and I still love it to this day. It is a jumper skirt, very simple and suitable for everyday wear.

The Anna Ice Skating Dress from 2014

I absolutel love this dress. It holds so many good memories for me. This one and the 2014 Anna Snow Mountain dress were the dresses, I used to wear to university, mainly for the Thomas Mann lecture I had one semester. I never liked Thomas Mann so I had to make up for it with my outfits. And I loved wearing them to uni. So comfy and everyday but still Disney.

Since the straps are adjustable with three buttons, this dress actually sits on my natural waist, which I like very much. It is also quite roomy in the bust area which is another plus point for it. I’d say this dress fits up to a small size M. It doesen’t fit me at the moment (those are photos I found in my folders from last year), so it’s not that big but bigger than other dresses.

The skirt doesn’t have that much volume, which I find a bit of a let down, I love voluminous skirts the best since they give the appearance of an hour glass figure. But the velvet tape around the hem gives it some stiffness which does actually help with the hour glass.

As you can see, the tag of my shirt is making an appearance XP. I need to train my boyfriend to tell me things like these… He takes all my pictures for me which I am incredibly thankful for, but other than normal, he’s not that perfectionist when it comes to my Disney photos 0-0. Maybe because he doesen’t like Disney… Anyways, ignore the tag, please :D.

Closure and Size

The dress closes with a zipper and a hook and an eye in the center back. The straps are adjustable in length with three buttons. There is shirring on both sides of the back making the dress fit a small size M.

The Braid and Buttons

The center front of the bodice is decorated with olive green braid and white and gold buttons. I think on the buttons there are lions, a shield and a crown, but I could be wrong:

The Print

Like on most Secret Honey dresses, we have a border print on this one. What is special is, that the print is not repeated on the back of the dress, it just goes all around the dress.

We start with Olaf. Olaf is the only one that is pictured in detail, all the others are pictured like shadows.
