Secret Honey Ariel Kiss the Girl Dress

Hello everyone, welcome back to another post. Today I would like to show you this first version of the Ariel Kiss the Girl dress from Secret Honey from 2015. This was one of the first dresses I bought and I love it dearly.

The Ariel Kiss the Girl Dress

First of all, let’s have a look at the dress in all it’s glory. I have a bad mirror-selfie from circa 2016 for you first:

Here it is from the front:

The set consists of a dress, a bodice and a headbow. Here it is from the side:

And here it is from the back:

Sizing and Closure

The dress closes with a zipper in the center back. The waist is elasticate and fits up to 75 centimetres. There is not that much room in the bust area, just be aware of that.

The bodice closes with a side zipper and there is a shirring panel in the back. The straps are adjustable in length:

The Bodice

The bodice is made from a jeans fabric and there is a lacing detail at the top in the front. The straps are detachable:

The Headbow

There is a headbow included which is really cute and makes the outfit complete. It’s made from a lighter jeans fabric than the bodice. In the centre it is decorated with a golden shell.

The Print

There is a border print on this dress as on all early Secret Honey dresses. It shows different scenes between Ariel and Eric. The first one shows Eric’s palace:

Then we have Ariel and Eric in the boat during the kiss the girl scene:

Ariel an Eric dancing in the town:

Ariel turning back into a mermaid on Eric’s ship:

And last but not least Ariel and Eric almost kissing:
