Secret Honey Cinderella Dress
Hello everyone, welcome back to another post. Today I would like to show you my Cinderella dress from Secret Honey. This dress is inspired by Cinderella’s ball gown and has a cute print in velvet. It is from one of Secret Honey’s earliest collections from 2014 and thus a bit short.
I showcase one of my Disney pieces every two weeks, you can check out my other posts if you like. Last time I showed you my Secret Honey Anna Travel dress.
If you would like to know more about the brand and about how you can get these dresses, I have got you covered in this post. I also sometimes sell dresses from my collection, check out my shop or my Instagram, I usually list them there.
The Cinderella Dress
First of all, a look at the dress in it’s full glory. This time, I have only pictures from the front and side because the back would be indecent, the dress is so short on me. From the front:
From the side:
This dress will stay in my collection despite it being far too short for me. I really like looking at it. Maybe I can wear another longer black skirt underneath it.
Closure and Sizing
The dress closes with a zipper in the center back and has shirring on both sides in the back. It is one of Secret Honey’s smaller dresses, it won’t fit you, if you have a bigger bust. The waist is ok, but there is really not a lot of room in the bust area. And as I already mentioned, the dress is very, very short. It almost doesen’t cover my butt. I am 1.74m tall.
The dress is fully lined.
The Pattern
There is an overall pattern in velvet on the fabric, it might be stars but I am not sure. The center front is decorated with braid trimming.
The Print
Then we have the velvet border print. I have a soft spot for velvet, I love this material. So naturally I love this print a lot. The print tells the story of Cinderella going to the ball and losing her slipper from left to right. First up, we have the carriage:
Then we have Cinderella looking at her glass slippers:
Then we have the carriage driving to the ball:
We have the castle:
Cinderella and the Prince:
And last but not least the clock and the lost slipper closing the story around the ball:
And that is already it for today’s post. I hope you enjoyed seeing this Cinderella dress in detail, thank you for reading and I wish you a good one.
Love,
Ella
