Secret Honey Embroidered Merida Dress

Hello everyone, welcome back to another post. Today I would like to show you my embroidered Merida dress from Secret Honey. This dress is for sale in my shop, in case you are interested. The Embroidered Merida Dress

As always, we start with a full length shot of the dress. This dress is knee long and has a high waist:

There is a zipper and shirring in the back:

And from the side:

You can see that the belt is loose in the front but part of the bodice in the back. This dress mimics the dress Merida was wearing during the archery competition in style, her more formal dress.

The Embroidery

This dress was part of a set of three embroidered dresses, Secret Honey also did a version for Ariel’s Kiss the Girl dress and Sleeping Beauty’s Once upon a Dream dress.

As you can see, the whole neckline of this dress is embroidered. We can spot Merida’s three bear brothers as well as her bow. There’s also leaves and flowers. Here you can see the embroidery a bit more up close, first the left side:

The Hem

The hem of this dress is decorated with the same intricate pattern as Merida’s original dress.

The Belt As the original dress, Secret Honey’s version also has a belt with a round buckle:
