Secret Honey Jasmine Winterdress

Today I would like to talk about my Secret Honey Jasmine Winterdress. This dress is stunning, especially the print, so unique and lovely. I don’t own another dress with this kind of watercolour drawing print. Which is why I would love to show you the dress in more detail 🙂

As you can see, the sheer layer is slightley asymmetric, which is probably, why it was untagged. I don’t mind, it is an absolutely stunning dress. Here is the back:

I love this illusion high-low hem, the dress is really something special 🙂

The Cut

This dress runs rather small. Not as small as Kristoff, but it is no roomy dress. It closes with a hidden zipper on the left side.

There are bra-straps in the sleeves, so they are adjustable to a certain degree. They make it easy to wear the dress off the shoulders. You can take them out, if you do not need them.

There is shirring in the back, around the waist and also the neckline.

There is also a nice lacing detail to help you adjust the size if necessary:

As you can see, neither the trim around the waistline nor neckline goes all the way around the dress. I love the trim a lot, by the way, so let’s talk about it:

Trim

For the trim, the brand used a beautiful brocade with colourful flower ornaments on a black background:

Here, you also see the lace details around the edges of the sheer tulle layer.

Beaded details

The trim is repeated around the neckline and also beaded heavily. THe beads are kept to the trim only, so the dress is not sparkly everywhere, but the neckline is fabulously glittery.

This rounded beaded detail was used on all of the Jasmine dresses I own from Secret Honey, btw. I love that detail, I just recently discovered it! You can find it on the Red Damask Dress as well! I also own the mit summer dress, I will show you that one at a later point, there, you can also find that same beaded circle:

Prints

Since I love all of these, I decided to include all the prints around the hem. There are 7 different motives (repeated on the backside of the dress) around the hem and one additional one on the skirt.

I absolutely adore this watercolour style, it is so beautiful. They are almost in chronological order, market Jasmine should be the first one.

This is the centre front print, I love this! Just look at the colours. And the best scene of course 🙂

And the last three, Jafar is also featured, I love it 😀 And look at the palace, I really do adore these colours. Very unique and beautiful print.
