Secret Honey Rapunzel Winter Set

Hello everyone, welcome back to another post. Today I would like to show you my Rapunzel Winter Set from Secret Honey. It’s a lovely, long skirt combined with a sweater, both in Rapunzel’s colours.

The Rapunzel Winter Set

As always, let me show you the whole set in a few shots first. From the front:

As you can see, the sweater is meant for someone a bit shorter than me, the ribbing, that should start under the bust normally is right over my chesticles, unfortunately. Nontheless, I do love this set, as it is unique in their Rapunzel collection, normally, they only made dresses in different shades of pink and lavender 🙂

The Sweater

Let me talk about the two pieces in detail separately for a moment, starting with the sweater. As I mentioned, the size of the sweater is a bit off for me, mainly because of the size of my chest, it’s not meant for that… I am probably also too tall for it (I’m 1.74). The colour also clashes with my hair a bit, I feel. So a few things coming together. Still, I like this sweater a lot, since Secret Honey paid a lot of attention to detail here.

The Beading

Rapunzels crown is done in beads on the left side at the top. I really like this little detail. They used beads as well as rhinestones and the crown also has golden embroidery. All in all a lot of texture and depth:

The Ruffles

There are knitted ruffles around the neckline, the cuffs and the hem of the cardigan in a warm light pink colour. They have a nice and detailed pattern with ribs and holes and look quite elegant:

The Corsage Detail

The star of the show is the corsage detail on the front of the shirt, done with a velvet ribbon in light pink. The loops are done by using a lace trim and lacing the velvet ribbon through.

The Skirt

I absolutely adore this skirt! It’s beautiful. I love the length and cut, the size is quite generous, it’s not too much and not too little decorated, it’s just perfect in my opinion. It closes with a side zipper. Let me show you some details:

The Print

There is one print of rapunzel in the center front at the hem. Rapunzel is drawn in sketch form and lightly coloured and sitting on the floor, lanterns all around her:

There are flowers and prints of Rapunzel and her tower on the background as well. There is also a flower and tendril pattern printed around the sides of the center front panel to mimic the embroidery on Rapunzel’s dress. Here is a close up:
