My Frozen Musical Outfit – Coronation Anna
Hello everyone 🙂 Today’s post is a little different. i would like to show you the outfit I was wearing to go and see the Frozen musical in Stuttgart on Dec 7th. I was wearing Coronation Anna and my Mum was wearing Elsa with me. I thought long about who will be who and what outfit I should wear. But I feel much more at home in Anna’s dresses than in Elsa’s 🙂 So my Mum got to be Elsa and I was Anna.
Here’s the Outfit – Coronation Anna
I chose Coronation Anna since I had everything I needed to complete the outfit: a skirt, a top, a cardigan, the choker, a coat and a handbag. Here is my outfit on the floor in full glory:
Here are the brands, they are all Japanese brands:
- Skirt, Top, Cardigan, Choker: all from Secret Honey
- Coat: from Belle Maison’s Disney Fantasy Shop
- Bag: from Shimamura in collaboration with Chiharu
These items were all limited edition and are not available for purchase on the websites anymore. But you can find these items on mercari.jp from time to time and purchase them via Buyee 🙂 It takes a little bit of luck though, coronation Anna is popular. If you don’t know how Buyee works, here’s a blogpost about how to buy Secret Honey and other brands with Buyee.
I also wanted to be Anna for the night, so I took my Shimamura x Chiharu Anna Nightgown with me as well 😀
The Look on Me
Here are a few photos of me wearing the outfit in our hotel room. The curtains match Coronation Anna quite well actually. The lighting was quite bad but we tried our best 😉 Also, my mum and tech items are enemies. One series of photos is a bit blurry for that reason, but I took a mirror selfie as well 😉 Here is the full outfit on.
Then we have the outfit with the cardigan. I later decided to not wear the cardigan out because I thought, i might be too warm in it. It was a good decision, it was really warm in the theater. But we immortalized it in the hotel room:
And now the blurry one 😛 I will include it because my mum took it 🙂 The mirror selfie follows.
Now the mirror selfie 🙂
The mirror wasn’t too clean ^^’ We stayed in Hotel Si-Siuites by the way. It was ok, the room was quite big, which was cool. Also the showers are huge 🙂 Also liked the breakfast buffet, there were many different delicious things. However, the dishes at the breakfast buffet weren’t all cleaned well. But that’s the only bad thing I can say. Other than that I liked it a lot.
Off to see the Frozen Musical
We booked our hotel right next to the Apollo Stage Theater which was a blessing because neither my Mum nor me do have an existing sense of orientation. Before we went to the theatre we ate a delicious Pizza at Pizzeria Al Centro. I had Vulcano, but it wasn’t as hot as I thought it would be. But delicious still. Since it is in the complex where also the other musical theatre is, the Pizza was very expensive.
Then, we headed to the Apollo Stage Theater. Inside were a few spaces where you could take pictures with the poster. Of course we did, here’s my Mum and I in our outfits:
The drinks in the theatre were reasonably priced. Most of them were served in glass bottles though and you were not allowed to take those inside. The solution they had were plastic cups. I had to buy the plastic cup and the glass bottle of water and then pour the water into my cup. Soooo… I’m not mad, the cup was only 2.50 and now i have a souvenier at home:
Now you want to know more about the musical I suppose 😉 Here is the stage with the screen in the beginning. The polar lights were moving and when they moved a lot chimes were playing.
They were 20 minutes late with the start, but oh my, was the wait worth it 🙂 I really liked the show, it was absolutely fantastic. Very good singers, great stage designs, gorgeous costumes and wonderful songs. They took a lot of time to develop the characters which was something I was missing in the movie where everything happens quite fast. It was absolutely wonderful, we had a blast. Of course, I can’t show you pictures or anything 😉 But I can tell you that: If you do have the chance to watch the musical, do it.
After the show we headed for the merch store, of course. They had crowns, an Elsa cape, plushies and more. They had a big Olaf plushie that I was very interested in. I asked for the price and it was 46 Euros… I thought, ok, maybe better take the musical booklet then and asked for it, pulling out 15 euros in the means it would be enough… The booklet was 27 euros oO. Holy Moly. Normally these booklets are around 15. Or they used to be a few years ago when I saw my last musical in London. Of course, I will show you this beautiful 27 euros booklet:
No pics of the inside of course due to copyright. I was a bit disappointed, they didn’t make a booklet specifically for the Stuttgart show. They simply reprinted the Hamburg booklet and sold it. I understand that it is expensive to take all of these pictures and design the booklet but holy moly for those 27 euros I would have expected it to be honest ^^’. But, I have another souvenir which I am not mad about. And I somehow regret not buying Olaf eventhough he was too expensive.
Anyway, that is all from me about this magical evening 🙂 I hope that you can watch the english version soon on Disney +. It is really wonderful. And I loved my outfit 😉 I hope you do so too.
Love,
Ella
