Secret Honey Anna Coronation Coat

Hello everyone, welcome back to another post. Today I would like to show you my Anna coronation coat from Secret Honey. This is post 2 of 2 covering the Anna coronation coat. In my last post I showed you the skirt and bodice set. This week, we will have a look at the coat: This coat is in a really beautiful shade of green. I love the little cape that comes with it, it’s so cute but if you take it off, you can tone the coat down a bit and wear it for work.

I showcase one of my Disney pieces every two weeks, you can check out my other posts if you like. Last time I showed you my Secret Honey Anna Coronation Set.

If you would like to know more about the brand and about how you can get these dresses, I have got you covered in this post. I also sometimes sell dresses from my collection, check out my shop or my Instagram, I usually list them there.

The Anna Coronation Coat

First of all, as always, here is a look on the coat in all it’s glory on my dressform. From the front:

The cape is separate from the coat. You just wear it over it, it is not attached or anything. Here it is from the side:

And here we have it from the back:

Sizing and Closure

This coat is very small and there is no shirring or anything that would allow for a size range. It fits up to a size S, maybe a small M with a smaller bust. The bust area is only 94 centimetres wide, which is not a lot. It just fits my dressform and she’s a German 36.

The coat closes with buttons in the front. Here it is open on my dressform:

The Cape

The cape is very pretty and has the pattern of Anna’s coat in the movie around the shoulders. The pattern is done with a navy coat fabric and a blue textured fabric for the lineart:

You can wear this cape on its own with the Anna coronation Set. There was a cape that was released in 2015 to go with the Anna Coronation Set, but you can also wear this coat cape instead. It is a bit shorter than the other cape, but still does the trick and leaves you with the full casual coronation outfit.

Closure

The cape closes with a hook and eye in the front and there are also two ties to tie a bow, reminiscent of the way Anna closes her coat.

The Lining

The cape is lined with a soft fluffy fabric and the lining shows the same print that we have around the hem of the skirt. Here are the three motives. First up, Anna and Hans:

Then we have Anna and Elsa:

And last but not least we have Anna by herself:

The rest of the print shows the embroidery pattern on Anna’s coronation skirt:

The Coat

The coat itself is very simple and without the cape perfect for work or any other more formal place you go. There are just a few navy accents at the cuffs, pockets and collar. Other than that it is just a beautiful green coat. Here it is without the cape on my dressform:

The Pockets

The pocket flaps are really cute and decorated with navy coat fabric:

The Cuffs

The cuffs are a real eye-catcher. They are rolled up and decorated with accents in blue coat fabric and a little navy velvet bow. The lining is also navy and depending on the angle, you see it peeking out:

The Lining

The lining is very simple and just shows the pattern of Anna’s coronation dress’ skirt. No print this time :):
