Secret Honey Elsa Ice Queen Coat

Hello everyone, welcome back to another post. Today I would like to show you my Elsa Ice Queen coat from Secret Honey. This coat is absolutely wonderful. The cape and fur cuffs are detachable, so you can wear this as an elegant light blue coat or go all in and wear it as an Elsa coat. It is beautifully embroidered and decorated with rhinestones.

I showcase one of my Disney pieces every two weeks, you can check out my other posts if you like. Last time I showed you my Belle Enchanted Christmas Cosplay.

If you would like to know more about the brand and about how you can get these dresses, I have got you covered in this post. I also sometimes sell dresses from my collection, check out my shop or my Instagram, I usually list them there.

The Elsa Ice Queen Coat

Let’s start as always, with some photos of the garment 🙂 I have one bad picture where I’m wearing the coat, unfortunately it doesen’t fit at the moment, so you have to forgive me for not having proper photos of this coat. My bad mirror selfie and photos of it on my dress form have to be enough 🙂 Here I am wearing the coat:

This coat was snug on me even when it did fit. There is not that much room in the bust area, be aware of that. Here it is on my dress form from the front:

I absolutely love this coat and it’s versatility. Loved wearing it without the cape and cuffs to go to work. Let me show you the coat without the cape next.

The Elsa Ice Queen Coat Without the Cape

Here you got, the coat from the front:

The fur at the collar is not detachable, only the fur cuffs are. Here is the coat from the side:

I think this coat has a very flattering cut with the fitted bodice and the full skirt. Reminds me a lot of the 50s. Here you can see the back of the coat:

The Embroidery and Rhinestones

The coat itself is plain and not decorated at all, with the exception of the buttons. But the cape is wonderfully embroidered with ice crystals and snowflakes. Let’s have a closer look at the snowflakes first.

embroidered snowflakes decorated with rhinestones

As you can see, they are all different in this shot and some of them are decorated with rhinestones. Aren’t they pretty?

Then there are beautiful ice crystals cascading down the cape as well. Let’s have a look:

Also here, they are all different somehow, be it only the length. You can see here that the snowflake pattern does repeat so they are not all individual.

The Cape Closure

The cape closes with a light blue hook and eye that are attached on the inside of the coat. It is decorated with two metal snowflakes that are themselves decorated with white pearls.

The Lining

The cape and the coat are lined with the same print showing Anna’s and Elsa’s profiles. As well as a ton of snowflakes. Here you can see the lining of the cape which is very soft and fluffy. The lining of the coat itself is made from a slippery thin fabric.

Buttons

The buttons of the coat are fabric covered and decorated with the sign of Arendelle:

They are a lot less decorative than the buttons on other coats. But I like them because it makes the coat easy to incorporate into my daily wardrobe, without the cape of course.

The Detachable Cuffs

As I already mentioned, the fur cuffs are detachable. They are attached with clear buttons on the inside of the sleeve, so you don’t see anything from the outside, very clever. As always from Secret Honey 🙂

And that you guys is already it. Thanks a lot for reading, I hope you enjoyed having a detailed look on the Elsa Ice Queen coat together with me. Thanks again and I wish you a good one.

Love,
Ella
