Secret Honey Esmeralda Dress

Hello everyone, welcome back to another post. Today I would like to show you my Esmeralda dress from Secret Honey. This dress consists of a dress, a scarf and a corset belt. I absolutely love the print on the dress and scarf.

The Esmeralda Dress

First of all, as always, let me show you the dress in all its glory. Here is a bad mirror-selfie of me wearing the dress ca. 2016:

Here it is from the front:

This dress is meant to be worn off the shoulders, but as you can see, it doesn’t fit my dressform like that, nor does it fit me. I have swimmer shoulders 😉 Here it is from the side:

Sizing and Closure

The dress closes with a side zipper. The back of it is elasticated. I’d say it fits a good size M. But as I already mentioned, you have to be very petite to be able to wear it off the shoulders, it is not very wide.

The cuffs of the sleeves are elasticated too:

The Corset Belt

The corset belt closes with a side zipper and there is a shirring panel in the back with a lace up detail:

The belt is decorated with golden trim. In the front, we have a lace up detail too:

On the fabric we have a pretty pattern:

The Scarf

The scarf has a very pretty and detailed print. Here is the whole scarf:

The Print

In every corner, there is a letter with a character from the movie. First up we have Djali:

Second, we have an E for Esmeralda:

Then we have a Q for Quasimodo:

And last but not least a C for Clopin:

The Coins

All the edges are furthermore decorated with three golden coins:

The Dress

The blouse part of the bodice is decorated with white buttons with a golden brim. The waistband is decorated with lace:

The Collar

The collar is decorated with embroidery in gold:

Then we have the straps that are decorated with lace. They are detachable and you can also adjust the length with three different button holes in the back.

The Border Print

Like most Secret Honey dresses, the Esmeralda dress has a beautiful border print. There are a lot of motives for this one, the skirt is very full. First we have Esmeralda and Djali:

Then we have Frollo. I really like, that they featured him on this print:

After that we have Esmeralda and Pheobus:

Then we have Quasimodo as the king of fools:

After that, we have Esmeralda alone:
