Secret Honey Rapunzel Hair Onepiece
Hello everyone, welcome back to another post. Today I would like to show you this Rapunzel Hair Onepiece from Secret Honey. I used to own it, because I really love the print with the pub thugs, but the colour wasn’t for me. But I still want to show it to you since it is so pretty and I love Tangled.
I showcase one of my Disney pieces every two weeks, you can check out my other posts if you like. Last time I showed you my Secret Honey Aurora Briar Rose dress.
If you would like to know more about the brand and about how you can get these dresses, I have got you covered in this post. I also sometimes sell dresses from my collection, check out my shop or my Instagram, I usually list them there.
The Rapunzel Hair Onepiece
First of all, we will have a look at the dress in all its glory. It’s an underdress with a skirt and shirt part and a separate bodice. Here it is from the front:
I really like this kind of dress, the bodice looks very flattering and sits on your natural waist depending on how you set the straps. Here it is from the side:
The dress does resemble Rapunzel’s dress slightley with the lace up detail on the bodice etc. But it is very different in colour and also the sleeves are different. And here it is from the back:
As you can see, there is a shirring panel in the back of the bodice to adjust the size to you. Let’s discuss more about the size and closure:
Size and Closure
The underdress closes with a side zipper. There is a shirring panel at the waist in the back and the neckline and sleeves also have shirring.
The bodice closes with a side zipper as well. The straps are adjustable in length with three different buttons and button holes and there is, as already pointed out, a shirring panel in the back.
The size of this dress is decent, it’s one of the bigger Rapunzel dresses fitting up to a small size M. I don’t have the exact measurements for you though, I apologise and since I sold the dress, I also cannot measure it myself… But it’s a better size than other Rapunzel dresses which tend to be very small.
The Bodice
The bodice is super cute. It has an overall print with these intricate bars that look as if they were taken from a carousel. There’s also ladies with super long hair (Rapunzel? Although she never wore an orange dress…) and leaves and the logo of Corona. In the centre front we have a lace up detail and the outline of the bodice and the princess seams are decorated with pink piping:
The Print
The star of this dress is of course the wonderful print starring Rapunzel’s hair which gives the dress its name, but also the pub thugs which I love so much. It’s very unique. What I also love is that they used the same kind of watercolour style for the motives as they used on the Jasmine winter dress. Here it right to left:
These two are my favourite:
Then of course we have Rapunzel and Flynn:
Maximus can’t be left out:
Mother Gothel (I think this is the only dress she is featured):
And last but not least we have Hook Hand playing the piano:
And that is it for today’s blogpost. I hope you enjoyed having a look at the details of this Rapunzel Hair Onepiece together with me. Thank you so much for reading and I see you in my next post.
Love,
Ella
