My Top 20 Secret Honey Casual Disney Outfits

Hello everyone, welcome back to another post. Today, again, no dress that I show you in detail, but another Secret Honey related post, my Top 20 Secret Honey Casual Disney Outfits. I say outfits because I allowed myself to group pieces into outfits (i. e. dress, blouse and coat are an outfit vs. only chosing the dress). I think that makes more sense since I will always wear them together anyway.

It was not that difficult, to narrow my collection down to 20 outfits (eventhough I love all of my dresses very much), but ranking these 20 outfits was quite the task… But I tried! Let me know, what you think of my top 20. Would you have chosen different outfits?

20. Rapunzel Winter Set

I absolutely adore this Rapunzel Winter set. One day, I will buy a Rapunzel coat to go with it, either from Secret Honey or from Belle Maison. The reasons why this set made it into my top 20:

• • The skirt has a really decent size for Secret Honey and still fits me perfectly. The shirt is stretchy and also fits very well (except for the ribbed part starting a bit too high on me, because my bust is bigger)

• • It’s a winter set. I tend to wear Secret Honey in the cooler months, because they are made from polyester. This one is perfect. I have worn it on my birthday this year and a little girl in the restaurant recognised Rapunzel and was super excited 🙂

• • It is based on Rapunzel’s dress in the movie, my other Rapunzel dresses are the Lantern ones, they are a free design. Sometimes I like to dress up a bit more 🙂

• • It’s separates and separates are the best because you can mix and match or just wear one piece instead of a full Disney outfit.

19. Belle Little Town Set

This Belle Little Town Set is one of Secret Honey’s most beautiful designs and it’s the first one without a border print. it is on the smaller side unfortunately. The dress is tiny. I don’t know if I’ll ever fit back into it. But I’ll try 😀 Here are the reasons why I love this set:

• • It is super casual and very versatile. You can wear the dress without the blouse and apron for example with a turtle neck underneath and no one would suspect it to be a Disney dress or think that you are overdressed. Same with the blouse. wear it without the dress and apron and it is just a very pretty blouse.

• • I adore the beautiful embroidery on the dress and apron as well as the lace and embroidery on the collar of the shirt. Embroidery is my favourite decoration for garments.

• • Shirt!!! I love shirts, this one is especially beautiful and it is separate 😀

18. Elsa Harvest Dress

I love Elsa’s Harvest Dress so much! So naturally it is in my top 20. I wish, it had long sleeves, but I know, then it probably wouldn’t fit me because Secret Honey’s sleeves are always very small. This dress is one of the bigger ones, although it is quite high-waisted if your bust is bigger. The reasons why this dress is in my top 20:

• • It is soooo close to Elsa’s dress, it is incredible. Only the long sleeves are missing, but as I already mentioned, I am not against that. But they did such a good job, incorporating every detail.

• • I loooooove Elsa’s Harvest dress. It is one of her prettiest dresses and this and the cosplay are high on my list of favourites.

• • The rhinestones and embroidery are stunning. The print on the fabric as well.

17. Esmeralda Dress

On rank 17 we have the Esmeralda dress Secret Honey released. It was released in two lengths, I own the longer version. This dress is really hard to photograph… I’m so sorry ^^’ I hope that the picture does translate its glory a little bit though. Just look at it… Embroidery, corset belt, border print, lace, bling bling, pretty buttons, it has everything! So naturally, it is in my Top 20, here’s what I like most about it:

• • It has a shiiiiirt!!! Well, part of a shirt, it’s no separate shirt (that would have been even more amazing). It is made from a lightweight fabric (polyester) and I like that since it is not that hot to wear. Also I really like the elasticated cuffs of the shirt part.

• • It has a corset belt *.* Love, love, love and they paid so much attention to it, the details are amazing!

• • The scarf! It has such a detailed print, so much thought went into it, I can’t believe it!

16. Sally Dress

Well, I’m a redhead, what can I say… And horror movies are my favourite to watch (after Disney, of course ;P). So Nightmare before Christmas is perfect for me and I adore Sally and Jack so much! This dress is so perfect. It resembles Sally’s dress in the movie a lot. But there are many more reasons:

• • We already established, it is very close to the original. The flutter sleeves, the patchwork, the stitches, the ragged hem, everything is well thought through.

• • I love that they incorporated that Sally is “sewn together” around the neckline. Very cute detail.

• • The print of Sally and Jack is very cleverly placed in the dots (that are also accurate to the movie :D).

15. Elsa Olaf’s Frozen Adventure Dress and Coat

Elsa’s Olaf’s Frozen Adventure dress is my favourite Elsa dress! So naturally it is in my Top 20 together with the matching coat. I wore this outfit when I went seeing Frozen 2 in cinema. My mom was wearing Anna to match me 😀 Good memories. Unfortunately I decided that day to remove the fur from the coat and I can’t find it ever since :(. I hope that one day I will find it again, because I would like the set to be complete.

• • The dress has the best cut for my body, this is the bodice pattern from Secret Honey I like most. It fits my chest, the waist sits on my natural waist, and it has short sleeves (Secret Honey’s long sleeves tend to be too tight for me).

• • The ice crystal print together with all the sewn on crystals is gorgeous and captures Elsa’s dress so well.

• • The silver embroidery and the sewn on crystals on the coat are just sooooo beautiful.

• • The coat has the perfect colour, I love it!

And here is the coat, sadly without the fur 🙁 The fur would make it perfect, since the dress doesen’t have fur but Elsa’s dress does. I’m so mad I removed it.

14. Mulan Yukata

This had to be on the list, Secret Honey’s Mulan yukata… I will probably never wear it, but I bought it because I like it so much and wanted to admire it in person. How fitting to release a yukata for Mulan! And such a gorgeous one:

• • I love the subtle print on the sleeves and around the hem. The characters are only lines that look as if they were drawn with ink ink and pen.

• • The neckband! It is sooooo detailed, dragons are printed on it as well as flowers. And there is a cute green ruffle around the neck that is attached with buttons. I like that you have the option to remove it (it is a bit scratchy, so it is perfect).

• • I am normally no pink fan… But somehow this beautiful gradient is totally it for me! And the flowers… It is soooo beautiful.

• • The obi: perfect touch of colour and there are flowers woven into the fabric!

13. Moana Dress

This Moana dress is just perfect! It incorporates all elements of Moana’s dress in the movie! But it is a lightweight summer dress. Love, love, love it so much, here’s why:

• • I love maxidresses, so this is high on my list just because of that. It is no full maxidress, but it reaches my mid-calves, which makes me happy.

• • The shells: I think these are real shells… Which raises questions on how they were sourced. But I can’t deny that they add a lot to the authenticity of the dress.

• • The size: It has a shirring panel in the back, which is nice and allows for a bigger bust. Which I have. So this makes me happy.

12. Jasmine Coat and Greeting Onepiece

I adore Secret Honey’s Jasmine designs so I had to include a Jasmine outfit in my Top 20! I chose the Greeting Dress and the Jasmine Winter Coat! This dress was not originally released with the coat, but they match perfectly since they are both inspired by Jasmine’s winter outfit in the Disney Parks. Here’s what I love about this outfit:

• • The dress is just breathtakingly beautiful… I know, very unspecific. But that’s it… It has sheer sleeves and neckline, gold embroidery, rhinestones, lace, golden collar and waistband usw. It has no border print but it doesen’t need it.

• • The size of the coat: This coat is a dream. It has room for a bigger bust which is not often the case with Secret Honey’s coats.

• • I adore the gold-blue trim, the beads and the embroidery on the coat. So over the top, so gorgeous. Also the golden pressstudds are such a nice detail.

• • You can’t see it in this photo (but in my blogpost about this coat 😉 ), but the lining of the coat has a beautiful watercolour print that tells the story of Jasmine and Aladdin. Secret Honey even lined the sleeves with this print… So much attention to detail.

11. Anna North Mountain 2014

One of the first dresses I ever got. I think, this was in my second order from Secret Honey. I used to wear the dress to uni for my lectures about Thomas Mann (I’m no fan, so I had to make up for it :D). In 2022 I purchased the coat when I saw it for a good prize on ebay (probably it would have been even cheaper on mercari.jp, but I didn’t know at the time). The blouse was a lucky accident. I bought a set with Elsas OFA dress and Anna’s Frozen Fever blouse. But the Frozen Fever blouse didn’t show up, I got this one instead… Since I already own the Frozen Fever blouse and this one matched my dress perfectly, I didn’t complain 🙂

• • The dress is pretty, but what gives it meaning are the good memories attached to it for me. My time at uni was my favourite, I loved learning new things and expanding my horizon and I did it wearing this dress. It was also one of the first Secret Honey dresses I owned, which makes it even more special.

• • The blouse is really pretty, I love the golden embroidery, the little ruffles at the shoulders and the clasp at the collar. Anna is also embroidered in gold 🙂

• • I love the colours of the coat! This beautiful shade of red together with the brown fur is perfect! Matches dress and blouse and I love wearing true reds. Can’t wait to put it on this winter.

• • The emrboidery on the cape is so cute! It shows Anna and Olaf. And there is another beautiful clasp.

• • The lining of the coat is super pretty with Anna and Elsa on it.

10. Elsa Travel Dress and Coat

We’re in the Top 10 now 🙂 It’s time for more Elsa: I adore the Travel dress and coat Secret Honey released! The dress is terribly small, but it is so beautiful that I had to own it just to look at it (I hope to fit into it one day though…). The coat is totally over the top, but so gorgeous… Here’s what I like the most about these two pieces:

• • The belt of the dress: It is so beautiful, done with embroidery and sewn on crystals. Very true to the original in the movie!

• • The cut of the dress: Eventhough I am normally no fan of high-waisted dresses, I do love the cut of this one, it does look very elegant

• • The embroidery, rhinestones and sequins on the coat are just beautiful! Over the top, but very beautiful

• • Again, the belt is very well done, also on the coat.

A little bonus for you: This is Belle Maison’s version of Travel Elsa. It is more toned down than Secret Honey’s coat, but I do love it very much. It has beautiful embroidery too:

9. Anna Travel Dress and Coat

Of course we cannot forget Anna’s Travel outfit! I adore it, it combines my favourite colours to wear, black and (with a little stretch of the imagination) red. I wrote a blogpost about Anna’s Travel dress in case you are interested. You can also find a post about Anna’s Travel coat 🙂 Here’s why I love them, next to them being my safe colours:

• • The dress is made from some sort of faux leather which is exactly the material I imagined for this dress!

• • The dress is soooooo close to Anna’s dress in the movie. They thought about every detail

• • It has embroidery… I love embroidery 😀

• • The coat has embroidery too!

• • I love that the coat is paneled like Anna’s cape and they even thought about the pinked seams!

• • It is one of the bigger coats which makes it comfy to wear for me 🙂

As a little bonus let me show you Belle Maison’s version of Anna’s Travel coat. The colour is not entirely right, but I actually prefer the red 🙂

8. Coronation Anna

The next set is not completely Secret Honey since I sold the Secret Honey coat (the colour wasn’t for me). I added the Belle Maison coat instead 🙂 If you are interested in Secret Honey’s Anna Coronation Coat, I have a blogpost about it with many photos.

I adore Anna’s coronation dress! It is so pretty and green is perfect on Anna. I owned every version of this dress Secret Honey released, but I sold the first two versions, the one I show you in this post is version 3. I also own the Hong Kong exclusive coronation cardigan. It is perfect to complete the outfit! Makes wearing the set in winter warm and cozy. Here’s why I love these pieces so much:

• • It is not a dress, it is a bodice and a skirt! So much more versatile, I love wearing the skirt on it’s own.

• • The print on the skirt and the embroidery are so perfect, just like Anna’s dress in the movie!

• • The cardigan is thick and warm and mimicks Anna’s cape she’s wearing while riding and searching for Elsa. It has the exact same ties. And the pattern over the shoulders! The pattern is textured btw… It’s amazing *.*

• • The Belle Maison coat is perfect for me. I love the colour and I like the cut, I like loose fitting coats a lot (there is a tie coming with it to cinch the waist if you want to though). I also love the embroidery a lot.

7. North Mountain Elsa 2015/16

More Elsa! Of course, I love her dresses a lot 😀 This time her iconic North Mountain dress and the matching Ice Queen Coat. This are the second versions Secret Honey released. The set consists of three pieces, the dress, the shirt and the gilet. One year later Secret Honey rereleased their Elsa coat. I prefer this version over the first one, because of the cut. Here’s what I love about these pieces:

• • The shirt can be worn on an everyday basis without the other pieces and looks very toned down but is still Disney 🙂

• • The gilet is done in a colour that also matches the first version of Elsa’s North Mountain dress released in 2014.

• • I love the bodice of the dress! The fabric is interesting and it is printed in silver and there are also many crystals sewn onto it.

• • The silver continues for the border print which makes the dress so elegant.

• • I love how simple the coat is without the cape. No one would suspect it to be an Elsa coat. But if you add the cape, it is full on Elsa.

• • The cape has beautiful ice crystals and snow flakes embroidered on it. Also a beautiful clasp. And rhinestones, of course 🙂

6. Frozen Fever Anna Set

Anna’s Frozen Fever dress is next to her Harvest dress my favourite. So bright, so colourful, so beautiful and so fitting for Anna. So when Secret Honey released a Anna Frozen Fever set, I had to have it and of course it is on my list. Here’s why I love this set, next to it being one of my favourite Anna dresses:

• • The cardigan is super casual and fitting for everyday wear. Anna is embroidered in the back, but I don’t think that is an issue. The rest is super everyday wear. Also green is one of my favourite colours.

• • The embroidery on the blouse: Ok, this is a pro and a con, hear me out. The golden embroidery on the shirts collar, sleeves and also Anna embroidered on the chest is super pretty, very elegant and subtle. Buuuuut. But the thread is quite scratchy when wearing it… But the sunflower brooch is detachable… I am thinking about getting a comfier blouse and just adding the brooch 🙂 The Anna blouse I will of course keep to look at it because it’s so pretty. I should iron it at some point 🙂

• • The skirt is my favourite piece. I love the waistband with the embroidery. The colour is super vibrant and the sunflower print is so beautiful.

5. Pirates of the Caribbean Dress

This just had to be on the list, the dress is iconic! Secret Honey released two Pirates of the Caribbean dresses, this is the first one. It is perfect! It has everything I love and it’s a pirate dress on top! How could it not make my top 5 😀 Here’s what I love most about this dress:

• • It has a shirt part!!! A special one. With lots of ruffles, a bow and 18th century inspired sleeves! And there is lace too! It is amazing *_* You can wear it on or off the shoulders.

• • It has a corset belt. And it is black. And it has bling on the hooks and eyes. There’s a pattern on the fabric and they used golden trim. It is so beautiful and will not just be worn with this dress 😉

• • The skirt has a super cute pirate print. Sharks, ships, a compass and more. And you can pull the skirt up and reveal the ruffles of the underskirt. Scandalous XD.

And I found a bad mirror selfie of Ella the pirate 😀 With a hair tie around the wrist, of course… Wouldn’t be me without it, if you look closely, you’ll find one on almost every picture of me in this post 😀 But this one is extra fancy, it is pink 😀

4. Coronation Elsa

I know, many of you prefer coronation Anna over coronation Elsa. But judging from the Secret Honey designs, my vote goes to Elsa. I love everything they released for coronation Elsa and I own all pieces except the embroidered shirt (I used to own it but it was just too small for me and not comfy to wear). So here I can show you the bodice and skirt, the cardigan, the coat and the tote bag 🙂 Let’s get into the details:

• • Again, it’s a separate bodice and a skirt which makes it very versatile since I like to wear the skirt on it’s own. The print is also not that obviously Elsa (only if you know or spot Elsa on it), which makes it work appropriate.

• • I love the colours they chose for the skirt and bodice.

• • The embroidery on the bodice is super pretty, we love embroidery here as we already established 🙂

• • The cardigan is nice and warm, perfect for cozy but stylish outfits in the cooler months. The embroidry on it is stunning too!

• • The coat, oh the coat… This is the Secret Honey coat I have been wearing the most often. I used to wear it to work when it still fit me and everybody loved it and said, it looked as if it were tailored for me 🙂 I hope I’ll fit into it again one day. For now let’s talk about it’s beauty: The embroidery, decorated with beads on the placket is soooo pretty. There is also the emblem of Arandelle embroidered in the back of the coat. Without the cape, it is a very elegant, but slightly over the top coat. I tend to wear it without the cap because I dislike the gem on it…

• • And then the tote bag: I only found it recently and purchased it immediately. I hope to find Anna’s coronation tote one day too. Elsa’s is super pretty, they worked with different textures and materials like faux leather, velvet, satin, trims, beads and more.

3. Nightmare before Christmas Set

We’re at the top 3 now 😀 I absolutely love this Jack Skellington set soooo much! It’s a skirt, a vest and a little bat brooch. I also love the Jack Skellington dress, but this set is more versatile, so I chose this one for my ranking 🙂 It also has good memories attached to it, I wear this around Halloween every year to go out and have a drink with my boyfriend. There are always people asking me about it 🙂 Here’s what I love:

• • It’s separates, again 😀 I just love being able to only wear the skirt, vest, or brooch. I wore the skirt for Halloween many times and people always loved it.

• • This is one of two Secret Honey sets with a vest. So a very special design 😀 And it suits Jack very well.

• • If you know me a bit better, than you know that I collect bats. So this brooch is very special to me 🙂

• • I love the border print, especially all the headstones.

2. Merida Set

She had to be in the top 3 too. Merida is my favourite princess. She is strong, brave, kind, intelligent and so much more. And of course I love her dress. So when Secret Honey released this set, I needed it. It is one of my most precious outfits. I used to own the coat too, but I gifted it to a friend that loved it much more than me 🙂 So here is only the set. It’s a shirt, a skirt and a brooch.

• • Separates, can’t say it often enough 😀 They are super useful in your wardrobe, giving you the option to go full on Disney, or just wear a little bit of Disney 🙂

• • The size: It is amazing. This set fit me when I was at my heaviest and it fit me when I was at my lightest.

• • The design: It is so well thought through, so many pretty details. The lace up detail at the collar, the puffy sleeves, the celtic ornaments around the hem and on the waistband. So pretty. Right up my alley.

• • The materials: I am a sucker for velvet. And suede. Love it.

1. Anna North Mountain 2015

Aaaand… Number 1! I debated this long and hard because it was between Merida and Anna. Anna won in the end. I can’t say why exactly because I really love them both equally. Maybe because it’s more pieces and thus more versatile? But anyway, let us appreciate this wonderful set of Anna North Mountain pieces! I own the 2015 set consisting of the blouse, the bodice and skirt and the jacket. And I also own the 2016 coat. Let’s discuss their beauty:

• • I am saying this for about the fifth time: separates! Very useful 🙂

• • The blouse could be worn on its own without a problem. It has no character embroidered nor a clasp or anything. Without knowing, it is just a pretty embroidered blouse and I love that, I can wear Anna to work without breaking the guidelines.

• • The skirt and bodice are sooooo close to Anna’s dress in the movie. It is just amazing. They are so close that I am a little bit afraid to try to wear them to the Frozen musical in December.

• • The embroidery on the bodice is beyond beautiful. And it is made from velvet. I loooove velvet 😀

• • The jacket is very size friendly and a great option for automn when it is too warm for a coat but too cold for no jacket at all. I also love all the movie accurate details like the appliqués and the pompoms or the clasp.

• • Well, the coat is legendary amongst Secret Honey fans I guess 🙂 Let’s say it with a few simple words: it’s perfect. Perfect colour, perfect cut, perfectly accurate.
